Signs your data is broken

Sound familiar? These are the problems we solve most often for Rhode Island small businesses.

  • Marketing and sales disagree on which channel drives leads
  • Conversion numbers in ads don’t match what you see in CRM
  • Nobody knows which events mean what—or if they still fire
  • Consent, ad blockers, or SPA navigation create huge gaps
  • You’re paying for tools but still exporting CSVs to answer basic questions

What clean tracking unlocks

Reliable data means you can cut wasted ad spend, fix broken funnels, and defend numbers to leadership.

Better marketing decisions

See which campaigns and pages actually produce qualified leads—not just clicks.

Clearer product insight

Understand activation, retention, and drop-off with events that stay consistent over time.

Faster reporting

Spend less time reconciling spreadsheets and more time acting on dashboards.

Confidence with stakeholders

Defensible numbers when owners, boards, or investors ask hard questions.

What’s included

Concrete deliverables—not vague “strategy” decks.

  • Server-side or first-party delivery where it improves accuracy

How we implement

A clear path from first email to shipped work.

  2. Plan

Define naming conventions, identity, and a minimal event schema that scales.

  3. Implement

Instrument site or app, validate in staging, and QA with real traffic patterns.

  4. Govern

Document ownership, monitoring, and how to add events without breaking history.

Why Digital Foundations

We’ve implemented analytics in production environments—not just GTM containers copied from blog posts. You get schemas that survive real traffic and org changes.

Because we also build websites and apps, we can fix tracking at the source instead of blaming “the dev team.”

Frequently asked questions

Pricing, timelines, and fit—answered plainly. Still unsure? See what happens when you inquire.

Segment vs GA4—which do I need?

It depends on your stack. GA4 is great for marketing and site analytics; Segment shines when you route events to many destinations. We recommend the smallest setup that answers your questions.

Can you fix tracking without rebuilding our site?

Often yes. Many issues are schema, tag, or identity problems. When the site architecture blocks reliable events, we’ll say so and quote the engineering fix separately.

How long does implementation take?

A focused GA4 or cleanup project can be a few weeks; broader product analytics may take longer. We scope milestones so you see progress early.

Do you offer ongoing analytics support?

Yes—monthly care retainers are available for governance, new events, and debugging after launches or campaigns.

What should I send when I inquire?

Your site or app URL, which tools you use today (GA4, Segment, Mixpanel, etc.), and the business questions you can’t answer confidently. Access to tag manager or analytics is helpful later—not required for the first email.
